A
registered dietitian is on staff at The Weight
Loss Clinic. Patients are strongly encouraged
to schedule a short consultation (1/2 hour
or so) with the dietitian prior to surgery
to discuss the subjects of Diet and Nutrition

As
you can imagine, the subject of Nutrition
becomes keenly important following surgery
to reduce the size of the stomach. For this
reason, Dr. DiMarco does ask his surgery patients
to see the Nutritionist right after the Surgery
Consultation with him.

After
surgery, additional appointments with our
dietitian are highly recommended to assess
patient progress and reinforce the principles
of proper diet.

Charges
for Nutritional Counseling are rendered
on a fee-for-service basis since they are
non-participatory basis. Please bring a
checkbook or major credit card along with
you when scheduling appointments for Nutritional
counseling
